Dr. Danielle Principato is a licensed clinical psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, couples, and family therapy.  She also conducts psychological evaluations. Dr. Principato obtained her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has trained and worked in a variety of settings, including residential facilities, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, primary care, medical, and nonprofit clinics. She has also served as a professional faculty member and adjunct faculty coordinator at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Principato has extensive experience working with those struggling with identity, life transitions, loss, and relationship difficulties, along with those with struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral and emotional troubles, and chronic medical illness. She works from a relationship and insight-based framework to help patients gain deeper understanding and meaning, change troubling patterns, and move towards growth and fulfillment with themselves and in their relationships. She sees people at the Hinsdale office but is not currently taking new patients.
